In conjunction with the announcement made by his eminence Dr. Ibrahim Abu Mohamad (The Grand Mufti of Australia) Board of Imams Victoria is pleased to declare that the First day of Ramadan 1442AH will be on Tuesday, 13th April 2021 Insha Allah.
BOIV President Sheikh Isse Abdo Musse and member Imams send their warmest Ramadan greetings to all Muslims in Victoria and all over Australia.
We strongly urge the community to adhere and follow the current social distancing requirements and wear masks if necessary during the mass gatherings to offer ‘Taraweeh’ prayer at Masjids or Musallahs to protect the community from COVID19 pandemic.
